Tasty Tuesday @ Whoopie Pie Place – Cranberry Orange Muffins & Alabama Sweet Potato Casserole

Well, another two weeks have passed without me updating.  Sorry about that.  The month of December is just crazy busy with Christmas prep for home and work, making my Christmas cards, getting ready for my cookie baking marathon next weekend, and everything else tossed in there.

For my first Tasty Tuesday post in December, I made cranberry orange muffins.  Figured this could be something for you to whip up for Christmas morning if you want to have something available to eat while opening up presents before breakfast is actually ready.

Then my recipe for this past Tuesday was for an Alabama Sweet Potato Casserole out of one of my new cookbooks, Cinnamon Rolls & Mixing Bowls, the sequel to Apple Pie & Apron Strings.  Lots of good recipes in here as well as dinners for planning holiday gatherings.  Figured this recipe could be something that could possibly grace your Christmas dinner table.  It’s really easy to make and tastes yummy.

Looking forward to a fun weekend in Amish Country with my friend Myrtle.  We are each heading up tonight, so we can get up early to head to Richfield, PA to meet Amy Clipston for her book signing and luncheon.  We are both excited about that.  Then we have a special dinner planned as well which we know will be delicious.

Hope you all have a great weekend!  Remember the real reason for the season in all of your busy-ness this coming week.

Blessings…
