Tasty Tuesday – Cookbook Giveaway

Happy Tasty Tuesday!  Figured it was time for a cookbook giveaway, and I’m including one of my favorite Pampered Chef items too.

I’ve used the “From the Farm House Kitchen” cookbook a few times on my blog, and I love the recipes that are included in it.  I also love the fact that this cookbook is spiral bound which makes it so much easier keeping the page open to your recipe.  And the Twixit! clips from Pampered Chef are one of my favorite kitchen accessories.  They work great to keep all sorts of items closed up, from keeping something fresh to keeping stuff from spilling on the floor.

So, for your chance to win this prize pack, all you need to do is tell me what one recipe would have to be in your family cookbook if you created one.  Mine would be my Nan-Nan’s baked macaroni and cheese.  It’s the bomb, and I’ll fix it for dinner when she comes to mind (which is a lot) or if I need to take a dish to a shut-in at church – it’s perfect for that.  What about you?  What recipe must be in your cookbook?

I’ll post the winner on next week’s Tasty Tuesday blog post.  Good luck!

  1. Lasagna. I learned to make it from my late Aunt. Used to make it for Christmas Eve dinner years ago when the whole family came together for the meal and gift exchanging.

  2. Macaroni and cheese is a big favorite in our family. It doesn’t last and never any left overs. But my family loves fall and with fall comes pumpkin rolls. That would be a number one to them.

  3. I’d have to include a recipe for a grilling and baking sauce we use on fish, shrimp, chicken and veggies. Everyone loves it and it’s finger licking good!!

  4. Our families would be a recipe for Spitz noodles and saurkraut it has been handed down for generations my we could eat this every week my girls come over to help make it because we triple the batch because they want left overs and I have a extra large cast iron frying pan which can cover 2 burners

  5. I know it is Fall nearly and there are lots of apple recipes out now, but I would have to put my mother’s apple cake in the cookbook. She has passed awY now and this cake just reminds me of her love and care for our family!

  6. If it was a family cookbook it would be my mama’s fruitcake recipe. Although many people no longer like it, my sisters children still do. She makes each of them a fruitcake each year.

  7. Macaroni and cheese is a favorite around here too.
For my cookbook I would include my grandmother’s chocolate pound cake, my hubby loves it. And maybe my mom’s potato salad, I love it. Also pumpkin bread with nuts, I love anything with pumpkin….and nuts!
    Blessings, Tina

  8. I would include my grandmothers home made chicken and dumplings I have fixed this and my children loved them I always let them know it was their great grandmothers recipe. Thank you so much for this awesome giveaway.

  9. I would have to include my grandmother’s cornbread dressing which was given to her by her mother. She passed it on to her daughter-in-law, my mother, and then it was passed on to her children. It is so good that both my brothers will make this dish.
